For your information
If you would like to see Kent’s Senior Women in action during the 2010 County Championship Season we have published the fixture list elsewhere on this site.
Seeing them in action will certainly give all parents and younger players an idea of the standards that are being set.
Notes of the Meeting held on 10th February published
Please find attached the notes of the second meeting the Girls and Senior Women’s Kent Clubs held at Addington Village Cricket Club on Wednesday 10 February 2010.
Notes of the initial meeting of Kent clubs with women's or girls sections
It was good to see so many Clubs represented at the inaugural meeting of Clubs identified as having active women’s or girls sections on Wednesday with many positive outcomes established.
Attached are some brief notes on what was discussed with action points agreed from the meeting.
Also attached is the blank information sheet for clubs to provide details on the clubs activity and the relevant contact details please.
Please also be aware of the Data Protection statement issued by Kent Cricket Board.
The KCB webpage is ready to get up and running and as Clair Gould at KCB receives the information, contact details will start to appear on the website.
Next meeting Wednesday 10 February 2010 7.30pm at Addington Village CC has been confirmed by the venue so please put this in your diary.
Could you please indicate to Clair Gould who will be attending to represent your club by End of Monday 8 February 2010.
Any club that has a female section, or are thinking of establishing one, be it Girls or Women or both and who would like to be part of this brand new initiative to further consolidate the female game in the County, please contact Clair Gould at Kent Cricket Board.
Details required
If your Club has a section for women or for girls or for both then we’d like to hear from you. Even if you are thinking of trying to form any such section we’d still like to hear from you.
At the moment we’re trying to gather as much information as possible about Women’s and Girl’s cricket throughout Kent and the first thing is to find the people we should be talking to about your immediate plans and plans for the future.
To help us do that we’ve prepared a form which we’d ask you to complete and return to us. We’ve included space for every possibility at every age group but if it’s just one or two people we should be talking to, just let us know on the form.
You can find the form here and we look forward to hearing from you.
