Jason Weaver, Kent Cricket Board’s High Performance Manager said ‘Congratulations to all those players who have been selected for the programme.

It is an exciting group of players and all the coaches that are involved are looking forward to working with them and keen to see how they progress over the future months. For those players not selected though it is important to remember that additions can be made at any time to the Junior Academy programme if they impress over the winter.

It has happened in the past and players have since gained full Kent Academy places. As players develop at different rates it is important to remember that the door is never closed on these opportunities.’

CONGRATULATIONS!
Firstly many congratulations to all that have made it into the Winter squad sessions - well done and good luck to you all!  There is no question that we expect everyone will improve significantly over the next few months and our intention is to make it an enjoyable but disciplined and hard working few months.
