KCB’s Talented Player Development Strategy 2007-2009

The most important document ever about the Development of Cricket in Kent has been published by the Kent Cricket Board.

Written by Jamie Clifford, Director of Cricket Development at KCB, it is a framework for all those involved in developing the game in Kent and working with the most talented of our young players.

The Talent Pathway

This diagram clearly shows the very simple route there is for a talented player to move from his or her Club, through District cricket, the Emerging Spitfire programme and into the Kent Young Cricketers system.  From there it’s into the Kent County Cricket Club Academy, on to the KCCC staff and into the England team.
