So here it is. The KCB interactive website.

This new KCB website represents a bit of jump forward for us. We have been able to build something that we hope will not only improve communication but will introduce a big element of fun into the coverage of everything our Young Cricketers achieve and allow Kent clubs and their Young Players to interact with us and each other in a lot of exciting new ways.

kwikbowl220.jpgWe have interactive message boards. You can post comments to almost all our articles. You can subscribe to our RSS feeds which will keep you up to date with everything happening in Kent cricket, keep you informed about coaching sessions at the Kent Cricket Academy and keep you up to date with all the courses KCB run to help your club stay on track, taking advantage of the new resources and investment coming in to our sport.

There are sections to upload match reports, you can share pictures in picture galleries, find out the latest in club development and Clubmark affairs and almost everywhere you will be able to contribute your own thoughts about articles published on the site. You’ll have to mind your ps and qs though, as every new item is reviewed by qualified Child Welfare Officers.

There’s a new Forum area in a special part of the site where the moderators will allow discussion on almost anything and where our cricket playing community can sound off.

In short, you should be able to find almost everything you need here. Links to play-cricket results for young players as well as upcoming fixtures, teams and so on.

Every Clubmark template file is downloadable from this site. Every ECB guidline your club needs to observe, every publication that we can find that we think will be useful is here.

You’ll also find what you need to sign up for programmes like CricketForce or make an application under the new Single Investment System.

Everyone can contribute

You won’t always have to wait for an answer until Searsie gets to the end of his emails!  There are six Clubmark Officers in Kent now. They’re all regular visitors to the site, along with dozens of other experts on every aspect of the game and club management.

You don’t have to register, but if you don’t you’ll miss out on some of the best features. If you register, you can reply to an existing article, discussion post or you can start a new thread yourself straight on the page.  All we ask is that you behave properly and recognise the site is visited by a lot of young people.

Enjoy our website and if you have any questions or suggestions about what you’ve seen or would like the site to cover, please let us know.  You’ll find all the contact details you need in the KCB section.
