The ECB Coaches Association (ECB CA)
The ECB Coaches Association (ECB CA) performs a key role in supporting the ECB’s Coach Education and Development programmes and its member coaches.
The ECB CA continues to strive to provide a range of high quality membership services and an infrastructure of local County Board (Coaches Association) which take responsibility for, on behalf of the ECB, the organisation, delivery and assessment of the key elements of the ECB’s Coach Education and Development Programmes.
The ECB Coaches Association supports the activities, interests and continuing development of all ECB qualified coaches and who have become members.
The ECB CA performs a key role in supporting the ECB’s Coach Education and Development programmes and its member coaches through the provision of:
- an enhanced two-way communication system
- a range of high-quality membership services
- an infrastructure of local County Board (Coaches Associations) which take responsibility for, on behalf of ECB, the organisation, delivery and assessment of ECB’s Coach Education and Development programmes.

Coaching Session Plans
On April 30th 2007, ECB CA will publish a set of 10 Coaching Session Plans which are for children at the Fundamental stage of development. The Plans are currently being piloted with a range of coaches in different counties.
The 10 session plans will be available to download and for your convenience KCB will link to them from this site.

“Hitting The Seam” is the newsletter of ECB CA and the latest issue, number 16, is available for download here. ECB CA Members should have received their copy through the post during the Winter.
