Of those courses it is essential that the Club Welfare Officer has an up-to-date certificate for the NSPCC Course “Time to Listen”.  The certificate must be dated within the previous 3 years of the date of submission of an Evidence File and the Site Visit.

We all have to be aware that in the society in which we now live we have to protect all our young players, vulnerable adults and the vast army of volunteers in local cricket clubs who give their time so willingly to develop junior and senior cricket.

The other two mandatory courses for CWOs and all Coaches are “Safeguarding and Protecting Children” (SPC) and First Aid.
