KCB will coach in your school!

Fully qualified Cricket Coaches, make sporting activities fun for all ages of boys and girls, based around the fundamental skills of striking and throwing, required by the national curriculum, along with leadership skills and team work. Cricket coaches are skilled in providing opportunities for all members of the group to participate, and make choices, which encourages full involvement and enjoyment by all the group. Coaches also encourage enthusiastic players who may show an interest to carry on sport, to join a local club, and can put talented players through to the attention of district cricket development officers for possible further opportunities.

KCB Coaches who work in Primary Schools are Qualified ECB Coaches, of ECB Level 1 or above qualification.

Coaches possess a Full Disclosure of a Criminal Record Bureau Check through ECB, have attended a First Aid and a Good Practice and Child Protection Course, and are required to attend an  ECB Working in Schools Workshop, which keeps coaches up to date with present ECB ideas on delivering cricket in schools. All coaches are required to be a member of the ECBCA, which provides the coach with insurance amongst other things.

Schools can have coaching at any time of the year, not just SUMMER!

COACHING IS FLEXIBLE ~ IT FITS YOUR TIMETABLE
Any time of the year. Any time of the day. In doors or out. One hour a week for half a term. One a week all term. One hour every week all year. Three hours every week for five weeks - you decide.

School coaching can be in curriculum time, or after school as a club.

Schools can book one hours coaching per week, for any number of weeks or
book blocks of time on the same day, so that one class follows another for1 day only or for a whole term.

After school clubs can be school fundraisers too - charge pupils 1 per week, minimum of 20 children will cover the cost, over 20 will pay for a course in school time or go to the school funds.

Local Kwik Cricket Festivals can be played in by the Schools free of charge each summer, with the chance of playing in the National Finals.

Coaches look after their diaries, and most make a working relationship with the schools, so that they are as flexible as possible to try and accommodate the school whenever they can.

The school must provide an adult supervisor with the coach at all times, to be responsible for the children.

There are many discounted block bookings available or have as many sessions as you require for £20 per hour.
