<p>The list contains details of several courses that will be available over the Winter of 2008/2009.&nbsp; Most are coaching courses of different levels and so on but details of Young Leaders Awards are also contained in the document.</p>
<p>If you or anyone at your Club is interested in perhaps starting off on the Coaching path, Level 1 (UKCC1) is probably the place for them to start though there is no need to do so:&nbsp; candidates can start at Level 2 (UKCC2).</p>
<p>There are details of conversion courses from &#8220;old&#8221; ECB Level 1 to UKCC2 if needed,&nbsp;details of SPC and First Aid Courses, Working in Schools modules and several others.</p>

]]></content></entry><entry><title>Final essential courses before the 2008 season</title><category>Coaching Courses</category><id>http://www.kentcricketboard.co.uk/coach-education/2008/3/31/final-essential-courses-before-the-2008-season.html</id><link rel="alternate" type="text/html" href="http://www.kentcricketboard.co.uk/coach-education/2008/3/31/final-essential-courses-before-the-2008-season.html"/><author><name>System Manager</name></author><published>2008-03-31T23:35:08Z</published><updated>2008-03-31T23:35:08Z</updated><content type="html" xml:lang="en-GB"><![CDATA[<p><strong>A reminder to all Coaches and to anyone seeking Clubmark accreditation or re-accreditation on behalf of their club that <em>all </em>the qualifications and certificates that are needed expire 3 years after the pass date.</strong></p><p>To that end, we have arranged two vitally important courses for coaches at Addington Village Cricket Club.&nbsp; The first is the &#8220;Safeguarding and Protecting Children&#8221; (SPC, previously known as &#8220;Good Practice and Child Protection&#8221;) and it&#8217;s on Thursday 24th April 2008, 6:30 to 9:30pm.</p><p>The second is the First Aid course and that is on Wednesday 30th April 2008, again,&nbsp;6.30 to 9.30pm</p><p><span class="sizeGreater20"><strong>This is the last chance for coaches to renew their qualifications before the 2008 season starts.&nbsp; We&nbsp;must also remind you that a Clubmark Evidence File is at risk of being rejected if coaches do not have all the necessary qualifications in place.</strong></span></p><p>Please contact <a href="mailto:heidi.coleman1.kent@ecb.co.uk">Heidi Coleman at KCB</a> if you need to attend either or both of these course.</p>

]]></content></entry><entry><title>Additional 1st 4sport Level 2 Canterbury</title><category>Coaching Courses</category><id>http://www.kentcricketboard.co.uk/coach-education/2008/1/22/additional-1st-4sport-level-2-canterbury.html</id><link rel="alternate" type="text/html" href="http://www.kentcricketboard.co.uk/coach-education/2008/1/22/additional-1st-4sport-level-2-canterbury.html"/><author><name>System Manager</name></author><published>2008-01-22T21:45:02Z</published><updated>2008-01-22T21:45:02Z</updated><content type="html" xml:lang="en-GB"><![CDATA[<p><strong>An additional 1st 4sport Level 2 Course has been arranged to start on Saturday 29th March at the Kent County Cricket Club, St. Lawrence Ground, Old Dover Road, Canterbury.</strong></p><p>The Level 2 course will be suitable for you if you have played cricket and have knowledge of some of the rules and techniques involved in playing the game.<br /><br />The ECB Coach Course is designed to help you &ldquo;prepare for, deliver and review cricket coaching sessions&rdquo;.&nbsp; <br />If you have done the Level 1 you can do the certificate if under 18, but will not be issued certificate until you are 18 years. </p><p>Course Requirements are:<br />&bull;&nbsp;8 x 3 hour modules. These are usually delivered on 4 days over a 4-week period.</p><p>&bull;&nbsp;Practical Coaching Assessment</p><p>&bull;&nbsp;Multiple Choice Questionnaire</p><p>&bull;&nbsp;6 x 30 minute sessions of Supported coaching practice &ndash; MUST BE ARRANGED BY THE CANDIDATE. This requires the candidate to be able to work in a coaching environment and must act as the lead coach with a UKCC2 or ECB level 2 coach supporting. Coach must display evidence of being able to plan progressive sessions.
