In the main it looks like someone there to Listen and provide support for the Clubs and Districts is the thing most wanted. Relay what is working or challenging in the field back to be heard by KCB and ECB when possible, and provide assistance with those challenges, wherever able. Be there, to anwer questions and queries - and when not sure how to do that, go and find out! Share ‘Best Practise’ between Clubs and Districts, when it would be useful to do so. Help lines of communication, not just with KCB but other partners in cricket, which should be beneficial to help district and clubs develop. And …… oh loads more! Looking forward to it.

I’m the port of call if a club or district need any help in the East or Middle of Kent, so that should keep me out of mischief for a bit.

I must now lighten this up, as i have also been told recently that i’d been far too serious and therefore, boring on the blogg of late, but then this was a friend, whose only interest in cricket is whether the players have decent legs!! No real information on the blogg just the coach ed stuff - how dare i? So now that the coach ed bits has nearly been passed over to Heidi, I can get on to far more pressing info, as The Villages Christmas Fair, that is just around the corner, on 1st December, that i have to bake 50 cakes or so for, and make the soup! The Country Fair back in July, was nearly a wash out, as it rained through most of it, still made £3500 for the Churches in the village which was good. The Christmas Fair, being a glorified coffee morning really, is far less stressful and lovely near Christmas, so looking forward to that.

More info on next blogg….bet you can’t wait!!
