Child Welfare
Child Welfare
The Kent Cricket Board is firmly and enthusiastically committed to ensuring that cricket in the County provides a safe, friendly and enjoyable experience for all young people.
The introduction of a Child Protection Policy by England and Wales Cricket Board is not just to protect young people in cricket, but is also to introduce good practice, raise awareness and provide piece of mind for all of us involved in the game.
Child Protection is about:
- ensuring that any young person or vulnerable adult is safe in any environment
- an awareness and education of others to understand what factors cause young people harm
- identifying risks to young people
