ECB Competition Group 4 Match

Sussex won the toss and chose to field.  In a rain affected match the overs were reduced to 20 overs per side.

Kent made 183 for 5 with Piers Richardson making 60 and Marcus O’Riordan 38 not out at the end.  His 38 included 34 in the final over with five 6’s and one 4!!!!

Sussex were all out for 91 from 13 overs.  Ben Johnston (4 overs, 3 for 32) and Piers Richardson (4 overs, 3 for 20) were the pick of the bowlers for Kent.

Kent are away to Surrey on Sunday 8th August.  The match is a 1pm start and is being played at Godalming Cricket Club in Surrey.  Good luck to the team!
