Kent travelled to Suffolk on Monday 5th July.  Kent won the toss and decided to bat and made 266 for 7 in 40 overs with Captain Michael Waller top scoring on 90.  He was assisted by Piers Richardson with 52, Ryan Davies 29, George Davis 27 and Marcus O’Riordan 26.
 
After the interval Kent took the field and bowled well to the Suffolk batsman.  Suffolk didn’t get off to a good start and could only manage a total of 78 all out inside 23 overs.  All the bowlers performed well but the pick of the bowlers were Sam Compton taking 2 for 12 from 5 overs and Oli Collins taking 2 for 10 from 4 overs.
 
Another great performance from the Kent Young Cricketers Under13 team.
 
The result has not yet been entered on to play-cricket.  It is the responsibility of the HOME team to do this so we are in their hands.
